Another week done.  We have a few days off then back to the grind.  Uneventful week, some quizzes, a birthday party for a nice coworkers - a bit naive albeit a well brought up person.  Though I happen to probably the most cynical person I know personally find it refreshing to be around someone with a fresh outlook on life. 

The birthday party was nice though - good to get out and socialize outside of work.  After years of near solitude it's refreshing as well.  The trip down to Montreal was uneventful and much nicer than the ones to Toronto.  The GPS car recharger or the input thingy on the GPS decided to die.  It would turn on for a few seconds then shut off - so I was able to get some mediocre directions close to the hotel and make it here okay.  I helped this poor lady whose car was stuck on ice and couldn't pull out.

I tried the idea of using the car mats as tread, but it doesn't work on front wheel drive vehicles I think.  She didn't speak any English so I don't think she understood it when I said 'je suis McGuyver." 

Heading home for a few days tomorrow - I'm looking forward to this.
