My previous posts were less than coherent.    There was another quiz friday that I think I redeemed myself on for shitting the bed on the one earlier in the week.  I moved into the wing senior room last thursday.  It's okay (certainly a step up from before) - and involves spending a few minutes a week making sure people keep the place clean.

The following things have annoyed me in the previous 24 hours;

1. Fat obnoxious women in positions of power or authority with no sense of humor or manners.

2.  Irritating men shorter than me asking for things.

3.  People laughing at me for wanting to buy organic wine.

I was told I was the first person ever to ask for that stuff in a wine shop (granted that wine shop was in a Walmart, so I guess the only questions they are used to answering are 'what kind of red goes with my Hungry Man turkey dinner?').  But I can't imagine people haven't enjoyed getting hammered with none of those god awful wine headache hangovers.  I polished off a little over a liter of it last night and it felt like King Kong used my brain as a stress ball.  The classic hangover cure (Subway + extra strength anti allergy medication + shower) worked.

Lessons learned:

1.  Everything costs money.  Too much of it.  And I don't have enough of it.  And acquiring it is painful and slow.

2.  There is such a thing as too much/inappropriate cleavage.

3.  Economic cycles flow in line with emotional cycles.

4.  Can't rely on notes anymore for quizzes.

5.  Faith enables one to bridge the gap between not knowing for sure, and finding out.  Um, this means that without faith nothing would have been attempted in the first place.  This isn't necessarily a religious thing either.
